Volunteer Usher Opportunities

As the face of Cathedral Concerts to each and every concert attendee, our volunteer ushers are vital to our success. We are looking for individuals who have an air of professionalism and have the ability to work with a culturally aware public to join our usher ranks.

Usher assignments can include:  greeting guests, taking tickets, seating guests or selling merchandise, among other positions needed determined by the concert.

Concerts are generally two hours in length. Doors open for seating 1 hour prior to concert time. Ushers report 30 minutes prior to doors opening for a meeting before each concert. Ushers are also asked to assist the staff in straightening up the Cathedral following the concert.

And Cathedral Concerts ushers experience the concerts for free!
